Please check out my most recent E-Ticket, a profile of Steve Williams, Tiger Woods’ caddie. Photographer Ross Dettman and I flew some 16 hours to visit Steve and his family in New Zealand earlier this year. We drove on the wrong (or left) side of the road, ate lots of lamb, drank lots of Speight’s learned all about the All Blacks. Here’s my story on Williams: http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/eticket/story?page= stevewilliams.

C'mon Drehs...you shirk your duties as an Orange Bowl Ambassador and leave a gap in the wall that let's the media horde through. As CSProf1971 said, U R despicable! You are a disgrace to orange polo clad people everywhere ; - )

Speaking of disgraces to orange clad people, guess we found out the truth about the strength of the Big Ten with that Rose Bowl matchup...yikes. Looks like the Buckeyes will likely get thrashed again.

I respectfully disagree .. but I'm confused. I assume you're referring to Big Ten referee Stephen Pamon, not Barry Mano, founder of the National Association for Sports Officials, right? You tripped me up on that one. As for Pamon, he was convicted of assault in 1997 after whipping three boys with an electrical cord. And according to several sources, he had a large debt due in part to a gambling problem, never a good thing for an official, as Tommy Hunt attested to in the piece.

Your story on Barry Mano was just dispicable. You basically convicted a man of wrongdoings without any evidence. He was ACCUSED of assault but never convicted. He was ACCUSED of throwing games because he was bankrupt - even though over 1.5 million Americans file every year.

Your article was just there to get people agitated with little or no journalistic integrity. The quotes from Yahoo Sports were so ambiguous they should be ignored. Very poor piece of work from a professional journalist.

Interesting story on F.P. Santangelo. As a father, it's great that he is teaching his kids how to face up to the mistakes they make. It's just too bad that he, and it appears hundreds of other baseball players have forgotten the defintion of character...what you do when no one is looking.

My latest story ... is someone we could all use a lesson from. It's a piece on a high school cross country runner from Ohio who shattered her leg 45 feet from the finish line of the state championship but crawled to the finish line.

http://sports.espn.go.com/ncaa/highschool/news/story?id=3111847
