So, I thought it would be neat to see what kind of team I can create with the basis that every player went to a high school in New Jersey. Each player must also be a non-retired player on an active roster (an exception is made for Dan Klecko, who was released earlier this season). The team I came up with is actually not half bad. I had to make it a 3-4 defense because of a lack of decent defensive lineman. Anyway, here's what I came up with. If you have suggestions or want to argue my picks then feel free:

QB - Joe Flacco, Audubon --> Delaware --> Baltimore Ravens

RB - Ryan Grant, Don Bosco Prep --> Notre Dame --> Green Bay Packers

FB - Dan Klecko, Marlboro --> Temple --> (no current team)

WR - Miles Austin, Garfield --> Monmouth --> Dallas Cowboys

WR - Kenny Britt, Bayonne --> Rutgers --> Tennessee Titans

TE - Greg Olsen, Wayne Hills --> Miami, FL --> Chicago Bears

OL - Bryant McKinnie, Woodbury --> Miami, FL --> Minnesota Vikings

OL - Jeremy Zuttah, J.P Stevens (Edison) --> Rutgers --> Tampa Bay Buccaneers

OL - Shaun O'Hara, Hillsborough --> Rutgers --> New York Giants

OL - Kareem McKenzie, Willingboro --> Prenn State --> New York Giants

OL - Dennis Norman, Cherokee (Marlton) --> Princeton --> San Diego Chargers

DL - Tamba Hali, Teaneck --> Penn State --> Kansas City Chiefs

DL - Jay Alford, Orange --> Penn State --> New York Giants

DL - Luis Castillo, Garfield --> Northwestern --> San Diego Chargers

LB - Shaun Phillips, Willingboro --> Purdue --> San Diego Chargers

LB - Gary Brackett, Glassboro --> Rutgers --> Indianapolis Colts

LB - Gerald Hayes, Passaic County Tech (Wayne) --> Pittsburgh --> Arizona Cardinals

LB - Brian Cushing, Bergen Catholic (Oradell) --> USC --> Houston Texans

DB - Malcolm Jenkins, Piscataway --> Ohio State --> New Orleans Saints

DB - Jason McCourty, St. Joseph Regional (Montvale) --> Rutgers --> Tennessee Titans

DB - Mike Adams, Passaic County Tech (Wayne) --> Delaware --> Cleveland Browns

DB - Nate Jones, Scotch Plains-Fanwood --> Rutgers --> Miami Dolphins

K - (no kicker in the NFL is from NJ)

P - (no punter in the NFL is from NJ)

NOTE: It was between Jay Alford and B.J. Raji for the last spot in the DL, but I went with Alford because he has more experience and about 5 sacks to his name; Raji is a rookie with no sacks)

NFL Week 11 Underdogs

Making money with NFL betting means sometimes risking money on teams who appear to be “down on their luck” and the odds are stacked against them. This week in the NFL, Week 11, it looks like there will be at least six home underdogs, potentially seven, depending what number your online sportsbook puts up for San Diego at Denver…so there are plenty of opportunities to be a “dog” bettor this Sunday.

While overall, the numbers when betting home dogs this year show a subpar 20-24 ATS (against the spread) record, stats from the past seven weeks alone can be looked at in a different light. In Week 7, road favorites went 7-0 straight up and ATS, but from Week’s 4 through 10 (not including the seven wins from Week 7), road favorites were just 11-11 straight-up, covering the spread only seven out of 22 times.

So betting the home dog in that span produced a 15-7 ATS record (68.2-percent), but why is it still so hard to pull the trigger on a pup, even with home field advantage?

First of all, when a team is getting points at home it often means they are either A) Facing a far superior opponent or B) A bad team.

For these bad teams, playing at home can actually be a worse experience than playing in front of opposing crowds, as fans have become disgusted after a few months worth of terrible performances and can be unruly in their treatment of the home side.

Look at last week’s Monday Nighter between the Ravens and Browns. The only thing that quieted the disgruntled Cleveland fans was that fact the majority were heading for the doors early in the fourth quarter.

Things haven’t gotten quite that bad yet for the Week 11 home dogs, so let’s look over the matchups and see if there is any value.

Home dogs for Week 11

**All lines are courtesy online sportsbook SPORTSBETTING.com

Pittsburgh Steelers at Kansas City Chiefs
Chiefs +10: Star Pittsburgh Steelers safety Troy Polamalu missed four games earlier this year with a knee injury and the defense was not the same without him. It is all but certain he will miss this date. The Chiefs, despite their record, are actually starting to play better on both sides of the ball.

Indianapolis Colts at Baltimore Ravens
Ravens +1: The Indianapolis Colts may be unstoppable at home but on the road they are only 8-1 since Oct. 2008 (smile)…tough spot for this home dog…let’s move on.

New Orleans Saints at Tampa Bay Bucs
Bucs +11: Before QB Josh Freeman took over the Bucs were averaging just 13.7 points per game. Since his arrival, they're putting up 30.5 ppg. New Orleans is also 0-2 ATS the past two weeks and add in the look-ahead factor (the Saints play New England in Week 12), and the Bucs could be a "live" dog this week.

Arizona Cardinals at St. Louis Rams
Rams +9: St. Louis hung in against the Saints and seem to be learning Coach Steve Spagnuolo’s new program. Winning this division game vs. Arizona would be a massive step in the rebuilding process.

Cincinnati Bengals at Oakland Raiders:
Raiders +9.5: Loyal Oakland fans won’t bail out on their team (as tough as things are) and with QB Bruce Gradkowski starting the team is optimistic. Raiders are 2-1 ATS at home in past three non-divisional contests.

Philadelphia Eagles at Chicago Bears
Bears +3: The Bears will need a magical home field advantage through the next six weeks to salvage this season. But for bettors, this line might continue to move up, giving some value playing on the home dog.

Good luck betting the games.

You can check all the current NFL Live Odds

Check out SPORTSBETTING.com for their 110% sign-up bonus.

Through 7 weeks here is how I rank the NFL teams:

1) The Cream Of The Crop:

New Orleans Saints

Indianapolis Colts

Denver Broncos

Minnesota Vikings (although it pains me to say that)

2) Legitimate Threats:

New England Patriots

New York Giants

Pittsburgh Steelers

3) Still Not Sure....

Arizona Cardinals

Atlanta Falcons

Dallas Cowboys

Philadelphia Eagles

Cincinnati Bengals

New York Jets

Green Bay Packers

Chicago Bears

San Francisco 49ers

Houston Texans

San Diego Chargers

Baltimore Ravens

4) Not That Good, But Respectable:

Jacksonville Jaguars

Seattle Seahawks

Miami Dolphins

Buffalo Bills

5) Bottom Of the Barrel

Carolina Panthers

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

St. Louis Rams

Detroit Lions

Cleveland Browns

Kansas City Chiefs

Oakland Raiders

Tennessee Titans

6) Disgrace of the League

Washington Redskins (only for what the heck is going on with thier front office/coach)

What do the Bottom tier teams have in common? Bad Coaching, Bad Front Office or Both. The Skins are a disgrace. Jeff Fisher has lost his team. Everyone knows Al Davis is actually the grim reaper. Todd Haley has nothing to work with. Ditto for Mangini (although he blew in New York). The Lions are still trying to recover from the Millen Era. Raheem Morris is probably in over his head. The Rams have been terrible since the jettisoned Warner for Bulger. Why does the NFL repeat it's own mistakes year after year? Incompetent coaching, coupled with an incompetent front office can lead to disaster. Put both together (as in KC's case) and you have a team that is dysfunctional and faces blackouts. Those teams in that third tier are dangerously close to falling int the bottom half of the league, or with a few good moves are legit. Atlanta is my top choice to make the next step. Love the Cards, Ravens and Jets as well. The teams most likely to fall? Houston, because they can't stop any body, Dallas because Wade Phillips is only the coach because I think the NFL wont let Jerry Jones do it, and my beloved Packers. Mike McCarthy is a horrible coach. Ted Thompson, while having done an admirable job with the draft for the most part, refuses to sign veterans, and has some nasty picks (Justin Harrell for one) against him. That team is dangerously close to being back to 4 and 12, and if the O line doesnt do a better job against the rush, Rodgers wont get off the turf, and this season will be lost.

Looking back on the reign of Ted Thompson and Mike McCarthy, I see a lot of disappointments. I am not talking about Brett Favre, because lets be honest, it was a move for the future. But I am talking about the mediocrity that faces the Packers right now.

The key to winning any football game is the line of scrimage. The Packers are terrible on both sides of the ball. Clearly thier o-line stinks. The d-line is not much better. I have listened to Milwaukee sports radio the last few days, and there are still the Rodgers hater/ Favre lovers who think it is Aaron Rodgers fault for the recent failures. But when you lose the battle at the line, there are not much hope for success. I think if you put Rodgers behind the Vikings o-line, they are just as good if not better.

All of this is a result of poor drafting and failure to retain or go after talent in the free agent market. That falls squarely on Teddy T. The lack of discipline (penalties come to mind) and poor evaluation of talent on the field falls on Mike McCarthy. When you have two massive failures like this, losing is the only option.

One missed point by all of this is the terrible special teams play of the Packers. Back to back weeks, terrible kick off coverage has put the Defense in terrible position. Not to mention Johnny Jolly's headbutt which gave the Vikings 4 more downs to hit pay dirt (and completely changed the game), you end up having a two game losing streak.

I never liked Mike McCarthy. I thought his hiring was terrible, and that the 13-3 year was a fluke. I did believe in Ted Thompson, especially after his success in Seattle. Now, I think the only hope is to can them both and move on. The names Holmgren, Dungy and Cowher are out there. What about Mariucci, who had nothing but losing hands when he coached in San Francisco and Detroit.

As a Packer fan, I guessed anywhere from 6-10 to 10-6 this year. Right now, if I could have 7-9, I would take it.

1. New Orleans Saints (6-0) LW: 1 A big win over Miami after trailing 24-3. Drew Brees had some interceptions but in the 2nd half he looked strong, and the running game stepped it up and got them the win. Yeah the Wildcat struck the Saints defense but overall New Orleans is a great team.

2. Indianapolis Colts (6-0) LW: 2 Ok they played the Rams, but Peyton had an excellent day and the Colts can still beat good teams. The defense only allowed 6 points against a St. Louis team that has Steven Jackson who rushed for over a 100 yards, Sunday, The Colts stay at #2.

3. Denver Broncos (6-0) LW: 4 Denver has a bye but they have a tough match up against Baltimore (3-3) who have had a very tough schedule. Knowshon Moreno and Kyle Orton have played well and the defense has played very very well

4. Minnesota Vikings (6-1) LW: 3 The Vikings stay in the Top 5 even with their first loss. They played a tough Steeler D and made some costly mistakes but I think they are still a Top 5 team.

5. New England Patriots (4-2) LW: 6 The Pats enter the top 5 due to their bye week and the Giants loss. Tom Brady seems like himself and the D is young but they have played good. With Sammy Morris out the running game is off but they should still be fine.

6. Pittsburgh Steelers (5-2) LW: 10 They did defeat Minnesota who was undefeated until then. The D played well and Rashard Mendenhall seems like a good RB Big Ben seems like an elite QB, and Pitt is almost a Top 5 team.

7. New York Giants (5-2) LW: 5 They lost to the Cardinals. And seem to have lost confidence in themselves. Eli had a terrible day Sunday Night against Arizona. The D did play well but not enough for them to lose and drop out of the Top 5.

8. Cincinnati Bengals (5-2) LW: 9 After crushing Chicago 45-10 they rise in the Power Rankings. Cedric Benson and Carson Palmer seem to be the Franchise for the Bengals, and they should have a good playoff run.

9. Atlanta Falcons (4-2) LW: 8 A big loss to a over rated Dallas team……oops I mean a Dallas team that is actually good. Matt Ryan was forced into 3 turnovers but they are still a Top 10 team.

10. Arizona Cardinals (4-2) LW: 15 A giant win over the Giants. The D played better than what they thought they could and they now enter the Top 10. 1

1. Green Bay Packers (4-2) LW: 12

12. Baltimore Ravens (3-3) LW: 11

13. Dallas Cowboys (4-2) LW: 16 1

4. Chicago Bears (4-2) LW: 8

15. Phili Eagles (4-2) LW: 13

16. San Diego Chargers (3-3) LW: 17

17. New York Jets (4-2) LW: 14

18. Miami Dolphins (2-4) LW: 18

19. Houston Texans (3-3) LW: 19

20. Jacksonville Jaguars (3-3) LW: 22

21. San Fran 49ers (3-3) LW: 20

22. Buffalo Bills (2-4) LW: 24

23. Seattle Seahawks (2-4) LW: 21

24. Carolina Panthers (2-4) LW: 23

25. Detroit Lions (1-5) LW: 26

26. Oakland Raiders (2-5) LW: 25

27. KC Chiefs (1-6) LW: 27

28. Clevland Browns: (1-6) LW: 28

29. Washington Redskins (2-5) LW: 30

30. Tennessee Titans (0-6) LW: 29

31. St. Louis Rams (0-7) LW: 31

32. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (0-7) LW: 32

So every time the Cubs are eliminated from playoff contention I choose a team to put my bad luck mojo behind for the October run. This year I made quite an unpopular choice: The New York Yankees. Choices like this demand an explanation. Here is said explanation:

Many people dislike the idea that the Yankees just throw a bunch of money out in free agency and try and buy a title every year. This season was seen to be no different with their offseason acquisitions of CC Sabathia, Mark Teixeira, and AJ Burnett. However, the fact that they're spending this money shows the commitment of the team's ownership to building a winner. One can spew all day about the unfair market advantage that the Yankees, the Red Sox and other teams have and how it is ruining baseball. At the same time, if they were to no go out and make these moves, they would be selling their loyal fan bases short. Do I feel bad for the Pirates? As a Cubs fan, no. But we're bitter. They've won 4 World Series Championships in the last 101 years. However, as a baseball fan I do feel for they're fans. But who's fault is it that they're doing so poorly? They're owners turn a sizable profit year after year by selling they're fans short. How about my hometown San Diego Padres? They play in the greatest city in the world, ever. Every single player poll that asks "Which city would you love to play in?" puts San Diego at the top of the results. The city recently built them a brand new, fan friendly, state of the art baseball stadium in the heart of downtown. Yet ownership refuses to put up the money to build a winner year after a year. So is it good for baseball parity that the Yankees were able to sign the three biggest free agents this offseason? No, probably not. But with the way the league is set up, the Steinbrenners would not be doing their job if they had not done so. Was it good for baseball that this was able to occur? To this, I'd have to say yes based on the current place baseball holds in the overall spectrum of sports in this country.

If baseball is America's pasttime, football is America's nowtime. Regular season NFL games routinely have more U.S. viewers than even the most important MLB playoff games this time of year. Last night, the Yankees win over the Angels to get in to the World series drew more viewers than the New York Giants' loss to the Arizona Cardinals. I have no possible way to support this, but I am 100% confident that this would not even be close to being true is it were the Twins and the Angels in this game. I'd even go as far to say that the only way this would have occurred and not involved the Yankees is if it were a potential NLCS clinching game that would put the Cubs in the World Series. And let's face it, Lebron will probably get a NL Pennant before the Cubs do. Moving on. I believe that this Phillies-Yankees World Series, no matter how competitive, will be the most watched fall classic since the Red Sox won it all in 2004. The yearly battle that the baseball fights to make itself seem relevant in October will definitely be a closer bout this year with the MLB coming out of the corner wearing the white shorts with the navy blue pinstripes. This being said, whether it's people like me who want to see the Yankees re-take the throne as the MLB's premier team or the presumably larger number of people who want to see them crash and burn, people will be tuning in and baseball will be benefiting as a whole.

Another thing that has drawn me to the Yankees is the storylines that have developed since the last time they have been in this position. I feel that this fascination really exploded last year when I spent an extended period of time reading a ridiculous number of books relating to the subject. The characters in this saga are so interesting it is hard not to want to see a happy ending. Derek Jeter = baseball god. If you feel otherwise, you need to adjust how you judge baseball gods. ARod = no baseball god. However, he is incredibly talented. Steroids happened. I have dealt with this and moved on. The roid monkey jumping off of his shoulders has, in fact, made him more likable to me. Him being more relaxed has definitely contributed to the drastic improvement in the clubhouse the the team was definitely holding the team back in previous years. He is also the most polarizing player in the MLB. He is one of the few players that those not interested in baseball are familiar with. Sure, this may be based more on negative factors such as the steroids, his messy divorce and his "relationship" with Madonna. But bad publicity is better than no publicity. He brings attention to the game that would otherwise not be there. Best of all, he gives baseball geeks such as myself something to talk about with the masses in social situations. Need more? Joe Girardi is a former Yankees catcher that was viewed as a goat last year, Nick Swisher is the Moneyball darling, Joba Chamberlin's name is Joba, the list goes on an on.

With all of this in mind, I found it impossible for me not to pick this bandwagon as the one that I latched on to much earlier in this season than I would have liked. They made the big moves in the offseason that no other franchise was willing to make. They finally played to the potential of their talent during the regular season. They have Derek Jeter. All of these things, plus the fact that the Phillies are no slouch themselves, have this World Series set up to be well worth the price of admission. Unless you are actually going to Yankee Stadium to watch it. So sit back, grab a cold beverage, and watch the most entertaining franchise in American sports (neck and neck with the Cowboys) make a bid at a return to glory.

New Orleans Saints (5-0) (Last Week's Ranking-1) We don't want to say we told you so, but hey we told you so! We took alot of heat for having them ranked #1 since the start but last week's big win over the NYG proves they belong at the top.

Indianapolis Colts (5-0) (LW-2) Coming off a bye and now playing the Rams? Wow we think they are going to stay towards the top of the rankings for atleast another week.

Denver Broncos (6-0) (LW-5) Jumped up 2 spots this week, due to there big win in San Diego to take a strangle hold lead on the division! We don't think they will collapse and lose it to the Chargers this year.

Minnesota Vikings (6-0) (LW-4) Keeping them at #4 this week, but they have a great chance to move up if they take care of business in Pittsburgh.

New York Giants (5-1) (LW-3) Due to the rest of the top 10 losing, the Giants did not fall as far as they could have. Losing like they did in the "Big Easy" either smacked their defense in the face or showed us who they really are. We will see this week vs Cardinals.

Atlanta Falcons (4-1) (LW-9) A big win on SNF against a possible team that maybe in the wildcard hunt, and another big game this week at Dallas who also can be considered a wild card contender.

New England Patriots (4-2) (LW-11) Well last week we told you that Belichek would take his frustrations out on the Titans, but even we didn't see 59-0 coming. They play Tampa Bay this week, we are SURE there wont be any snow, but we aren't sure if they'll drop 60 or not!

Pittsburgh Steelers (4-2) (LW-10) Okay the Steel Curtain just beat the Lions and the Browns in consecutive weeks to get to their 4-2 record, this week is the first true test for them since losing to Cincy when they host the Vikings.

Chicago Bears (3-2) (LW-8) Tough loss at the Falcons on SNF, now they have a battle at Cincy this week. And if you are on Twitter you can see Ocho Cinco and Cutler had a few words back and forth but all in good fun, should be a good game.

Philadelphia Eagles (3-2) (LW-6) We had them ranked 6th last week, and obviously we thought they were better than they really are. Losing to the Raiders? Come on! We don't even get to see them bounce back with a true test this week either at the Skins on MNF.

Cincinnati Bengals (4-2) (LW-7) The loss at home to the Texans really has to hurt, because its loss #2 at home and when you are in the AFC North, you can't really have losses like that if you want to win the division.

San Francisco 49ers (3-2) (LW-14) Coming off a bye week, its time to see if the Niners can bounce back on the road against the inconsistent Texans. To win this game the Niners secondary (Clements) needs to do a much better job (A.Johnson).

Green Bay Packers (4-2) (LW-15) Well good medicine this year for most NFL teams are matchups against the bottom of the league. And after shutting out the Lions the Pack now goes to Cleveland to see if they can take advantage of them as well.

Dallas Cowboys (3-2) (LW-17) Coming off the bye week, the Cowboys have a tough matchup in "JerryLand" against the HOT Atlanta Falcons, will be a tough test to see if Dallas belongs in the playoff hunt.

Arizona Cardinals (3-2) (LW-18) Well we think that the Cardinals may be back, after totally destroying the Seahawks on the road last week. But we get to see if the Super Bowl Cardinals are back if they can beat the Giants on the road on SNF.

Baltimore Ravens (3-3) (LW-12) The Ravens were once 3-0 but that seems like a long time ago after losing 3 consecutive heart breakers. They were a last second field goal away from possibly being ranked 9th. Now a much needed bye week.

Houston Texans (3-3) (LW-20) Well one of if not the most inconsistent teams in the NFL has won another big game but now has a must win against the Niners if they want to be a legit playoff contender.

Miami Dolphins (2-3) (LW-19) The "Wildcat" is for real, well atleast it is in Miami. They seem to be the only team to successfully run it, and with Chad Henne having the arm that he does, makes this team dangerous.

New York Jets (3-3) (LW-13) Almost a can't lose this week against the Raiders due to 3 consecutive losses. And the last 2 being against division rivals. Rex Ryan really has to get this team on the right track and fast.

San Diego Chargers (3-3) (LW-16) A few more head scratchers during Monday night's game against the Broncos for Norv Turner. We just can't seem to trust him in a big spot and its starting to look like the team doesn't either.

Jacksonville Jaguars (3-3) (LW-22) The Jags have moved up 1 spot and are now at .500 but its because they had to beat the lowly Rams in overtime at home. This team is going to have to prove alot more to us, to really move up the rankings.

Carolina Panthers (2-3) (LW-23) The Panthers have won 2 in a row after their bye week. They have a shot to get back to .500 this week when hosting the Bills. John Fox seems to have got this team on the right track.

Buffalo Bills (2-4) (LW-28) Well just when we thought it was over for Dick Jauron and the Bills this year, they go into the Meadowlands and beat the Jets in overtime. We think that this week's loser of Bills at Panthers will be out of the playoff race for good.

Seattle Seahawks (2-4) (LW-21) Getting rocked at home to the division rival Cardinals makes us think that Seattle showed us who they really are. Now a much needed bye.

Oakland Raiders (2-4) (LW-30) You may say, "Why the big jump in the rankings?" but when it comes down to it, when the Raiders defense decides to play they can play with alot of teams in the league and obviously the Eagles are one of them.

Kansas City Chiefs (1-5) (LW-27) We said last week that we liked how the team was playing in recent weeks, and they finally got their fist win against the sinking Redskins. Now they catch the Chargers at home after they had a big MNF loss to the Broncos.

Washington Redskins (1-5) (LW-24) The Skins once again showed us that the organization is in turmoil this week after losing at home to the winless Chiefs then letting Sherm Lewis call plays over the guy they hired to originally run the offense. (Shaking our heads)

Cleveland Browns (1-5) (LW-25) Losing at Pittsburgh last week was a tough game to have coming off their 1st win, but now while half the team has the flu they get to host the Packers, good luck.

Detroit Lions (1-5) (LW-26) Well last week we told you that the Lions seemed to be satisfied with their 1 win, and after not even showing up against the Packers, we now fully believe that.

St. Louis Rams (0-6) (LW-31) The Rams were finally able to move out of the 31st spot in our rankings, but not due to a win. Its just the fact that when a winless team in front of you losses by 59pts they are sure to drop below you.

Tennessee Titans (0-6) (LW-29) Once again we are going to bring up 59-0, the only reason that we keep the Bucs in the final spot is because not only are they winless, but we think they will remain winless for the rest of the season.

Tampa Bay Bucs (0-6) (LW-32) See above.

These are my rankings of all 32 NFL teams. I appreciate any imput so go ahead and leave a comment.

1. Indiapolis Colts - If there schedule couldn't get any easier, think again.. Take the Colts every week in the NFL Spreads. Manning is the best quarterback there is.

2. New England Patriots - Dont get me wrong, they played against a horrific Tennesee Titans team, but just wait and see, I have a feeling the Colts and Pats will meet in the AFC Championship.

3. Denver Broncos - They are playing like the most ballanced team in football. Definatly not the most sexy pick, but the Broncos are 6-0, and a win is a win and a loss is a loss. I just dont see them beating the Patriots again, thus they are lower.

4. New Orleans Saints - The Saints proved me wrong and just flat out embarresed the New York football Giants last Sunday, if they can slaughter them like that what other NFC team stands in there way?

5. Minnesota Vikings - Right now everything is clicking for the Vikings. Perhaps the most talented football team in the NFL, I mean its almost like a dream team. A future HOF under snap, the best running back in the league, and not to mention Jared Allen.. All is good right now, but the Vikings better stay on there heels, remember how Favre and the Jets started last year?

6. New York Giants - The Giants suffered an embarresing road loss last week, but look for them to regroup and blowout the 'Fins next week. If the secondary for the G'MEN can tighten up they should be just fine.

7. Pittsburgh Steelers - The Steelers seemed to find there stride last Sunday, look for there team to keep improving and look like the Super Bowl champs they were a year ago.

8. Baltimore Ravens - The Ravens have lost 3 games in a row by a combined 11 points. After this bye week Ray Lewis and the hungry Ravens will get back on track and pull off an upset against the undefeated Broncos. The Ravens could have easily won there last 3 games.

9. Atlanta Falcons - Matt Ryan looked sharp in Sunday Nights win over the Bears, the Falcons and there ballanced offense will continue to put up points.

10. Green Bay Packers - They shut out the Lions as there Defensive Line got to Cullpepper all game. But the Packers have alot to fix, including there offensive line woe's giving up another 5 sacks on Sunday, as well as the pass defence.

11. Chicago Bears - Cutler got going especially late in the game on Sunday, but couldn't get the job done. They will contend in the Black and Blue division this year 'till the last second.

12. Philidelphia Eagles - If you lose against the Raiders, something isn't going the way it should. The game was so Mcnabb, he is a hit or miss. With the media all over him he will have a huge game next Sunday.

13. Cinncinati Bengals - The Bengals are set on the offensive side, but had a poor outing to say the least last Sunday against the Texans.

14. San Diego Chargers - Yes, they can still come back and win the division, but unlikey unless the defence steps up. Rivers' offensive line didn't buy him any time in the Monday Night loss to the undefeated Bronco's.

15. Houston Texans - The Texans and Matt Shuab's offense are looking better and better each week, who can stop them?

16. SanFran 49'ers - The 49'ers have arguably the best defence in the NFL, but there total offence needs a lift, maybe the rookie from Texas Tech can make sparks fly in his debut.

17. Miami Dolphins - Probably the only team in the NFL that can run the Wildcat successfully.

18. Arizona Cardinals - Kurt Warner was clicking on all cylinders in there big win. Maybe the Super Bowl team can turn the pipes.

19. Dallas Cowboys - Every week i would NOT take the Cowboys on the points spread because the definition of the Cowboys is inconsistency. Dont get me wrong though, they have the talent to go far.

20. Jacksonville Jaguars - Jaguars = worst defence

21. New York Jets - Sanchez played like well, a rookie. The Jets finally come back to Earth as they need to go back to the drawing board after a sluggish dissapointing loss to the Bills.

22. Carolina Panthers - Hey Jake Delhomme, PASS THE BALL TO STEVE SMITH!!, somehow they need to maneouver him to get him open.

23. Buffalo Bills - Why can't the Bills play like they did against the Pats? The Bills are just apart of another collapse with T.O in the makings.

24. Seattle Seahawks - They need to use this bye week to their advantage, after getting blown out in a rare home loss.

25. Kansas City Chiefs - With there first win last week, there is hope for KC, well atleast a little.. It will be interesting to see if LJ produces again this week.

26. Oakland Raiders - The Raiders are 2-4! and they beat the Eagles, yeah thats right, the Eagles.

27. Detroit Lions - Stafford needs to come back next week and produce alot, or this Lions team is going to face alot more losses, remind you of something?

28. Washington Redskins - It's not that the Redskins are bad, its just there is no effort. Jim Zorn will be outta town within a few weeks unless something drastic happens.

29. Cleveland Browns - The QB situation is still not to a conclusion *yawn*, and they traded there best reciever.. Not a wise choice.

30. Tennesee Titans - Not in a million years can a team coached by Jeff Fisher be the worst team in the NFL, but after that loss they are playing awfully close to it. I think the Titans may rebound, but not enough, too little too late.

31. Tampa Bay Buc's - I like how Jon Gruden is now a commenter for MNF, actually i don't, he may be the most annoying guy to listen to yet to call a game. Too bad the Bucs don't have him now, because they surely need help.

32. St. Louis Rams - Yes, the Rams are the worst team in the NFL. When you celebrate in the endzone after scoring a touchdown when you are getting crushed by the Vikings, I think you deserve to be injured.

1. New Oreleans Saints (5-0). LW: 2 - The Saints move up top with a win over the Giants. Drew Brees proved he can play against a good defense. The defense stopped Eli Manning and they have proved they can also ste up. Marques Colston could be an elite WR and Jeremy Shockey is having his best year as a Saint. Darren Sharper is a great safety and has played well this year.

2. Indianapolis Colts (5-0), LW: 1 , Indi drops one due to a bye week but I think this team has proven they are going to have a great year. Garcon and Collie have replaced Gonzalez well and the defense has done great.

3. Minnesota Vikings. (6-0) LW: 4, Minnesota defeated Baltimore who just keeps playing very good teams. The defense did not play very well against Joe Flacco and his premier offense. Brett Favre and Sidney Rice keep connecting deep down the field. Although the Ravens almost one the Viknigs just keep finding a way to win.

4. Denver Broncos (6-0) LW:3. Kyle Orton is a stud, case and point. Although Minnesota jumped them, Denver is still a top five team that could beat anyone. Brandon Marshall and Josh McDaniels are "buddies" now and the defense has played VERY well in the second half.. Scheffler (TE) had a huge day last night against San Diego and Eddie Royal is a great Special Teams athlete.

5. New York Giants (5-1) LW: 5. Eli Manning played a stellar game agianst the Saints but they came into the Super Dome against a team that was ready and prepared for them. The defense tried thier best but lost in the end. The Giants can still beat any team but the Saints were ready for them coming off their bye.

6. New England Patriots (4-2) LW: 8 Yes, some could say the Titans have a terrible defense but I also think Tom Brady and Randy Moss are getting back to thier scoring ways. The defense played very very well against Kerry Collins but the rush defense needs improvement. Laurence Maroney played well and I think the 07 Pats are back.

7. Atlanta Falcons (4-1) LW: 9 Atlanta has played well, and they did beat the Bears, Sunday Night. Tony Gonzalez seems to fit this team very well and did beat the Bears LB's. Michael Turner had a not to great game against Chicago but he still got in the end zone.

8. Chicago Bears (3-2) LW: 12 DA BEARS have played great offensivley but without Brian Urlacher, I dont know if they can handle big threat TE's. Jay Cutler is the Franchise QB they are looking for but he needs some Wideouts to help him out.

9. Cincinatti Bengals (4-2) LW: 6 Yeah they lost to the Texans, but Houston is improving. The defense of the Bengals needs to step up a little bit to help Carson Palmer and Chad Ochocinco win games

10. Pittsburgh Steelers (4-2) LW: 13 Ben Roethlisberger is a great QB, thats all. Willie Parker has been out but Rashard Mendenhall has picked up his game and has helped greatly. Now with Pomalalu back the pass defense should play extremely better.

11. Baltimore Ravens (3-3) LW:11

12. Green Bay Packers (3-2) LW:15

13. Philidelphia Eagles (3-2) LW: 10

14. New York Jets (3-3) LW: 7

15. Arizona Cardinals (3-2) LW: 16

16. Dallas Cowboys: (3-2) LW:18

17. San Diego Chargers (2-3) LW: 17

18. Miami Dolphins (2-3) LW: 19

19. Houston Texans (3-3) LW: 20

20. San Franciso 49ers (3-2) LW: 14

21. Seattle Seahawks: (2-4) LW: 21

22. Jacksonville Jaguars: (3-3) LW: 22

23. Carolina Panthers: (2-3) LW: 24

24. Buffalo Bills (2-4) LW: 26

25.Oakland Raiders (2-4) LW: 32

26. Detroit Lions (1-5) LW: 25

27. Kansas City Cheifs (1-5) LW: 29

28. Cleveland Browns: (1-5) LW: 28

29. Tennessee Titans (0-6) LW: 23

30: Washington Redskins (2-4) LW: 27

31. St. Louis Rams: (0-6) LW:31

32. Tampa Bay Bucs (0-6) LW: 30

I am now 56-20 after going 12-2 last week. This week's predictions are...

Houston Texans 2-3 vs. Cinicinnati Bengals 4-1

Detroit Lions 1-4 vs. Green Bay Packers 2-2

1. New Orleans Saints -

Nothing new to report here coming off a bye. They've impressed me the most with the toughest schedule. I believe this upcoming game with the Giants is going to determine if the Saints are truly a Super Bowl contender.

2. New York Giants -

This team has been completely dominant in all but one of its games this year. Manning showed his toughness playing in a very painful condition and doing very well last week. This team has all the pieces.

3. Indianapolis Colts -

Austin Collie is a huge surprise this year and is another case of the Colts' amazing scouting crew coming up huge. This is why the team is a perennial dynasty. It seems every single pick they make has an impact, and once again the team is fantastic.

4. Minnesota Vikings -

Favre did this exact thing last year, so it'll be interesting come week 10 to see how things go from there. All facets of the defense have looked really great, and AP and Favre are having no trouble on the offensive side.

5. Denver Broncos -

I've had such a hard time believing in this team, but after beating the Pats I can't deny it any longer. A no name D-Line is coming up huge for this team and defying all odds, pushing the pocket quite well and shielding blockers with ease allowing Dumervil and Ayers an easy path to the QB. Pass rush and good OL play = recipe for success.

6. Philadelphia Eagles -

Some new faces are making an early statement in Philly. They survived the injury to McNabb and look stronger than ever. Asante Samuel is harkening back to his Patriots days and really acting as a big play catalyst for this defense.

7. New York Jets -

The defense played terribly on Monday night, costing the Jets the game despite another great performance by Mark Sanchez. Braylon Edwards made some outstanding catches, though, and may push this team over the top.

8. Atlanta Falcons -

Inconsistency hurts this team. They showed how well they can really play in mutilating a good 49er team.

9. Baltimore Ravens -

After a great start to the season they've now lost two games in a row that they definitely should've won, and now have to go play the Vikings. Who would've thought .500 would be a distinct possibility after a 3-0 start?

10. Cincinnati Bengals -

This year's 2008 Falcons if that makes any sense. The Bengals leading the AFC North? Ha, this is why we love football.

11. Chicago Bears -

I for one thought losing Urlacher would cripple the Bears' season, but Hunter Hillenmeyer has exceeded expectations and done an adequate job filling in. The Bears have beat some damn good teams...I'm just a little surprised they weren't bigger players in the Braylon
Edwards sweepstakes.

12. Pittsburgh Steelers -

If Mendenhall can have another impressive game, Fast Willie could be relegated to 3rd down duties, winding down a great career. I really like what Big Ben has done this year becoming a premier passer and distancing himself from the "High Intangible-Low Stat" crowd.

13. New England Patriots -

Brady isn't looking all that sharp this year. Whether it be miscommunication with WR's or just plain missing on throws, we're not seeing the Future HOF'er were used to. It's troubling to see him utilizing his TE this much in an offense built around airing it around the field to speedy WR's...I think it shows a disconnect somewhere although Watson has been effective.

14. Green Bay Packers -

Trench work (OL and DL work) is really holding this team back. The protection has been the worst in football so far this year; it's a wonder Rodgers is doing as well as he is.

15. San Francisco 49ers -

Singletary has to get his defense together after they got tore up by the Falcons last week. Pass defense is a bigtime Achilles heel for this team.

16. Miami Dolphins -

'Twas a very impressive win over a good Jets team. The Wildcat is ridiculously effective at this point, not only creating huge holes for Ronnie Brown but leaving defenses on their heels which is playing a huge part in Henne's success.

17. Dallas Cowboys -

This is the Cowboys' problem. For all intents and purposes they dominated this game. Stupid mistakes and bonehead penalties kept a terrible team dangerously close to crippling the season. I don't think a "laidback" coach is the solution for our problems.

18. San Diego Chargers -

They've not been impressive this year. The Broncos game is virtually a must-win to avoid a complete changing of the guard in the AFC West.

19. Arizona Cardinals -

Warner's pinpoint accuracy has been huge for this team. One thing is still missing - a viable running game. The Cardinals had hoped Beanie Wells could bring them just that, but so far things aren't going as planned.

20. Houston Texans -

The passing offense is ever-sexy in Houston, but the running game and defense have been big roadblocks for this team. You're not going to win giving up 30+ each week.

21. Seattle Seahawks -

Well the return of Matt Hasselbeck couldn't have gone any better. He looks healthy as ever. A win in Arizona would bring hope back to this season.

22. Carolina Panthers -

This isn't a good team. The 1 instead of a 0 in the win column earned them this spot, even though it was against a crappy Redskins team.

23. Jacksonville Jaguars -

This team is obviously still finding itself, hence the extreme erraticism each week. The defense is lacking in all areas, and while the offense is definitely improved it isn't as strong as the defense is weak.

24. Washington Redskins -

Yeah pretty shitty team here. The laughingstock that is Dan Snyder continues to grow as 100 Million dollar signing, Albert Haynesworth, has been neutralized without much effort by consistent double teams.

25. Detroit Lions -

This is a bad team who, unlike the 5 teams ranked below, is making big strides in improving and becoming a contender once again. It started with firing Matt Millen, coaching changes, picking a franchise QB, regaining discipline on defense...I think there's a lot of potential here, things are definitely looking up.

26. Tennessee Titans -

Who knows what went wrong in Tennessee? What was just last year a top 5 defense has been reduced to, statistically, a bottom 5 one. It's just unexplainable. Time to get VY in there and see if they can't get some positives going forward.

27. Buffalo Bills -

The time bomb that is Terrell Owens continues to tick down as the Bills' offense continues to put up pathetic numbers. 6 points against the Browns is absolutely atrocious. Get Jauron outta there.

28. Kansas City Chiefs -

I think there's raw talent on both sides of the ball that needs serious molding.

29. Cleveland Browns -

Cheapest win of the century for the Browns. The Quarterback position is in complete turmoil, and trading Edwards was a complete and utter misfire

30. Tampa Bay Buccaneers -

Josh Johnson has looked pretty promising. Kellen Winslow has been big time for them as well. Defense not so much.

31. Oakland Raiders -

Al Davis' methodology is going to win this team zero games and take them exactly nowhere.

32. St. Louis Rams -

0-16 IMO.

1. New Orleans Saints (4-0) +2

WW: The Saints proved again Sunday that they are capable of winning games with their defense. They really defused Mark Sanchez. Watch out for Darren Sharper as a darkhorse defensive player of the year.

2a. Indianapolis Colts (4-0) +2

BC: The Colts are coming off yet another dominant offensive performance led by Peyton Manning. There's no doubt in my mind now who the NFL's best QB is. This team is on its way to yet another playoff berth, and another MVP award is awaiting Manning at the end of the tunnel.

2b. Minnesota Vikings (4-0) +4

WW: It doesn't matter who you're playing, it's going to be hard to lose when your defense is forcing 8 sacks. Brett Favre stepping in as the star he once was while the Adrian Peterson factor is inexistent has proved to be huge this year.

2c. New York Giants (4-0) -1

WW: I actually wasn't that impressed with the Giants last Sunday. Even though they completely outplayed the Chiefs they were never able to completely run away with the game and kept the Chiefs in it longer than they should have.

5. New England Patriots (3-1) +2

BC: Tom Brady isn't looking nearly as good in the stat column as he has in recent years, but continues to pull out wins for his team. It's going to be a huge boost for this defense when Jerod Mayo comes back, and it has done surprisingly well after losing Seymour, Mayo, Bruschi, and Harrison; all key components.

6. Baltimore Ravens (3-1) -4

BC: Joe Flacco is on his way to top 10 QB status. He's a natural born leader, and his arm strength, leadership, and pocket presence are out of this world for a player his age. The Ravens potential game-winning 4th Quarter drive stalled with a Mark Clayton drop. The win would've been huge, but no one in Balty is going to mope about it.

7. New York Jets (3-1) -2

BC: For the first time this year, Mark Sanchez looked like a rookie. A stupid low blocking penalty, multiple terrible decisions, turnovers...the rookie was outclassed by a very good veteran Saints defense. The Jets defense looked absolutely phenomenal though, holding Drew Brees to under 200 yards passing. What?! Yeah. It happened.

8a. Philadelphia Eagles (2-1) -1

WW: Big bye week to rest up a banged up offense and a soft schedule coming up. The Eagles could very likely be 5-1 going into the Dallas and New York games.

8b. Atlanta Falcons (2-1) +1

WW: After a bye week we get to see if Mike Smith was able to get his offense to be able to perform in a better rhythm.

10. Denver Broncos (4-0) +4

BC: This is the worst 4-0 team in the history of the NFL. By all means they should be 2-2, but wins are wins I guess. Poor execution by the Cowboys was the driving force behind the victory.

11. San Francisco 49ers (3-1) +2

WW: This team is just so impressive. After a detremental loss a week ago Singletary proved why he is so good with preparation for this team causing a blowout against St. Louis. 49ers are definitely the early front runners of the NFC West.

12. Pittsburgh Steelers (2-2)

BC: The story of this game for Steeler fans was Rashard Mendenhall's explosion on the ground. I don't care if San Diego is missing their most important defender. 29 carries with a 5.7 YPC is absolutely insane. Not often do you see your RB break 160 on the same day your QB breaks 325.

13. Chicago Bears (3-1) +3

WW: Still not very impressed. If it weren't for an early second half run the Lions certainly could have up-ended the defensively struggling Bears.

14. Cincinnati Bengals (3-1) -4

BC: The thing about the Bengals isn't just that they're winning. They're winning in very dramatic fashion each week. The momentum and energy around this team is absolutely electric. Carson Palmer has brought this team back from oblivion to contention.

15. Green Bay Packers (2-2)

WW: The offensive line of the Green Bay Packers needs a lot of work. Same goes for the defensive front. The saying "you win the game in the trenches" definitely applies here for the Packers, they are getting destroyed up front and it's costing the rest of the team.

16. Dallas Cowboys (2-2) -5

WW: The loss of the Terrell Owens impact is really proving to cost Dallas' offense here. Jason Witten no longer has the one-on-one attention over the deep middle and Roy Williams isn't making the transition people originally thought he would make going back to Flanker.

17. San Diego Chargers (2-2) -1

BC: The Chargers are off to their Slow Start™ again this year. It's somewhat mental I think. Fans can only pray the team flips that switch in time, but 5.7 YPC on 29 carries to a back up RB is not excusable.

18. Arizona Cardinals (1-2) +1

WW: It's time where we see after the small break whether or not the Cardinals are going to be able to continue where they left off either last postseason or regular season. Not much thoughts on whether or not either is possible here.

19. Houston Texans (2-2) +2

BC: Defense is the issue with this team. Can't see 'em finishing over the .500 mark at this point especially with such an injury prone QB.

20. Jacksonville Jaguars (2-2) +4

BC: Mike Sims-Walker is the reason this team is off to such a good start (While the record may imply mediocrity, they held an amazing Colts' offense to 14 points in Week 1). David Garrard has always been a good QB, and now that he has some targets, that's beginning to shine through.

21. Miami Dolphins (1-3) -1

BC: Wow, you want to talk about making a statement? With that performance Chad Henne didn't just gain the support of a fanbase; he secured the faith of his teammates, and his own self-confidence which is infinitely more important.

22. Tennessee Titans (0-4) -4

BC: We all knew Kerry Collins was on the downswing, but the real mystery is that the hell happened to this defense? Apparently Big Al was more important than I thought to this D.

23. Seattle Seahawks (1-3) -1

WW: Really unfortunate how much injuries have had an impact on this team over the last few years. A loss was expected last Sunday but the Hawks didn't even put up a fight. The Seahawks won't be ready to compete until Matt Hasselbeck is back and healthy.

24. Washington Redskins (2-2) +3

WW: Really disappointing start for a team that could have very easily started out 0-4. Nobody's going to be impressed if you have to come back to beat the Buccaneers.

25. Carolina Panthers (0-3)

WW: After a season-saving bye the Panthers better be prepared to play like they did last year, and the most important aspect in that would be going back to running the ball and playing good defense.

26. Buffalo Bills (1-3) -3

BC: Getting tatooed by a division rival at home is never a good thing. When is Trent Edwards going to start reaching his potential?

27. Detroit Lions (1-3) +1

WW: Another good week for the Lions despite the loss. The offense looked pretty good but the defense still obviously needs work. Matt Stafford is making solid progress.

28. Oakland Raiders (1-3) -2

BC: Same old Raiders. No defense and no offense. Usually not a good recipe for success.

29. Kansas City Chiefs (0-4)

BC: I still laugh at that ludicrous contract they handed Matt Cassel. He has a QB IQ of 0, and has zero leadership ability or presence... Well, at least his physical ability makes up for his poor intangibles. Oh wait, it doesn't.

30. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (0-4) -1

WW: Good to see the defense playing somewhat decent football, even though it was against the Redskins. The running game is what sets this team apart from stinkers like the Browns and the Rams.

31a. Cleveland Browns (0-4) +1

BC: Just terrible. Talk about a fail move trading the #5 overall when you could've snagged the early OROY favorite.

31b. St. Louis Rams (0-4)

WW: Would it be premature of me to call out the Sam Bradford sweepstakes this early?

BC: bcransom

WW: WildWesty

Us two make PR's every week.

Baltimore Ravens (3-0) By far the best team right now, Joe Flacco gives this team something they have really missed since, hmmm forever... a Quaterback!

New Orleans Saints (3-0) Not only are they unbeaten, they are 2-0 on the road in hostile places like Philly & Buffalo.

Indianapolis Colts (3-0) Peyton Manning looks to be on a mission this year, & changes in the coaching staff haven't caused an issue so far.

New York Giants (3-0) Schedule hasn't been tough, but going into Big D and pulling out a big division win and being 2-0 in the NFC East is a great start.

New York Jets (3-0) Nobody thought they would be 3-0 before the year started when you saw their schedule as (@ Texans, Pats & Titans) WoW!

Minnesota Vikings (3-0) Brett Favre is already +1 for the Vikings, meaning he has won them 1 game they wouldn't have if he was sitting on his couch.

Cincinatti Bengals (2-1) Remember if it wasn't for the miracle of the decade against the Broncos they would be 3-0.

Chicago Bears (2-1) I don't think anyone in Chicago is crying about not having a QB anymore, do you?

San Francisco (2-1) Well here i go again, if it wasn't for Brett Favre the Niners and Vikings would swap spots in my rankings. Atleast they are back to respecability.

New England Patriots (2-1) Although it took a fumbled kick-off for them to even have a winning record, totally shutting down the Falcons this week shows how good they are.

Atlanta Falcons (2-1) Losing at the Pats is definitely not something to get to worked up about, plus Matty "ICE" looks to be the real deal.

Philadelphia Eagles (2-1) Even without McNabb another QB has carried this offense, and no im not talking about Vick or Garcia, Kevin Kolb showing he could be the FUTURE!

Dallas Cowboys (2-1) If Tony Romo didn't single handedly lose the game against the Giants then they would be way up this list, but a true test in Denver this week will show us who they really are.

Green Bay Packers (2-1) They had to squeeze out a win against the Bears, then get pumbled by Cincy, but nothing better than playing the Rams to straighten out your problems, lets see how they fare in a game against their best player of all time. (Favre)

San Diego Chargers (2-1) A team with a whole bunch of key injuries has still managed to be 2-1 and has a tough game at Pittsburgh this week, lets see who the better banged up team will be?

Denver Broncos (3-0) Undefeated and ranked 16? Well i think their D is definitely for real but their schedule has not been, true test this week vs the Cowboys.

Pittsburgh Steelers (1-2) Troy Polamalu is the Most Valuable Player in the League, hands down! If he's healthy they are 3-0!

Houston Texans (1-2) Looked abissmal against the Jets, then shocked everyone against the Titans, but then looked abissmal against the Jags? Inconsistency kills teams!

Tennessee Titans (0-3) By far the best winless team after 3 games i have ever seen, are sure to get a win this week! We'd hope, although playing a tough road game at the Jags.

Buffalo Bills (1-2) Another team bit by the last second snake, who would have thought 1 fumble in game 1 would changed the complection of this team, because they haven't looked like the team that was playin up until that point since!

Arizona Cardinals (1-2) Not suprising to me, even thought they made the Super Bowl, they were only 9-7 in the regular season, they will be lucky to hit that mark this year.

Jacksonville Jaguars (1-2) Big division win against the Texans, another key game this week vs the Titans, i thought this team would be better then they have played so far.

Detroit Lions (1-2) You may think I'm crazy ranking them here, but they are by far the best BAD team in the league. I love Jim Schwartz, and think he will build them back to an NFC North contender, look what has happend to the Titans Defense since he left too!

Seattle Seahawks (1-2) Tought to see where a team actually stands without their QB and leader, but their defense has not been all that bad.

Kansas City Chiefs (0-3) When you get to this part of the Rankings, you have to use the eye test to see which teams are better then the others, and i just think Kansas City is better than 26-32.

Washington Redskins (1-2) They got really lucky against the Rams, or they would be my #31 team this week, because being the team to break the Lions streak is embarrasing, even if they are on the up and up.

Oakland Raiders (1-2) They are ranked here because they have a win and looked good against San Diego week 1. Zero percent based on the game against the Broncos --> Eww!

Carolina Panthers (0-3) They may turn it around, but not with Delhomme at QB, because as far as i see it, the team (especially WR's) have quit on him! Hell, after last years playoff performance then game 1 vs the Eagles this year i would quit on him too!

Miami Dolphins (0-3) Had injury added to insult by losing Pennington this week, but this does not surprise me, this is direct result of taking advantage of a last place schedule one year and getting abused by a first place schedule the next.

Tampa Bay Bucs (0-3) Although the Giants made them look like a high school team, i think Morris might be a good coach and i like his move to bench the scrubby veteran Leftwich!

St. Louis Rams (0-3) Spags has their D looking better and better, but Kyle Boller just isn't going to cut it for them, 49ers may win by their largest margin in weeks come Sunday.

Cleveland Browns (0-3) Whether its Cleveland writers saying Mangini is the worst hire in 25 years, or Mangini's horrible way to try to win the team over. (Fining guys for using water bottles, practically hazing rookies with bus trips, or the whole QB mess) This team if you can even call it a team is by far the worst in the NFL!

Huge dispoinment on Panthers performace on MNF at Dallas vey disappearing with Altanta, Arizona, Philedelphia and Carolina are on byes with eagles got a chance to being back MCNABB for injury reserve.

Detriot at Chicago:Edge Bears

Very surprising results for the Lions against the Red Skins slipping off a 19-game losing game Matt Stafford is the man with the plan. For the Bears coming off a big win over the Seattle Seahawks 25-19, but Lions never beaten the Bears before. Thinking never millon years.

Cinncinnati at Cleveland:Edge Bengals

The Ohio cold war the Bengals are coming off a big win divison rival Pittsburgh Steelers first win since 2006 23-20 by 3. Cleveland are 0-3 uhm what happen to that rocky start in 08 lost half it's magic swiching quarterbacks yet again.

Okland at Houston: Egde Texans

The Texans are coming a loss to Jacksonville Jaguars 25-31 their divison rivals nothing had gone nice for the black and sliver are in dire straights with Bad Boy Tom Cable calling the cable guy to clean up aise Jamarcus Russell 0. With the Texans win and it's do or die for Raiders.

Seattle at Indianapolis: Edge Colts

The Colts coming off a monster win the Arizona Cardinals 31-10 without Hasselbeck where the Seattle Seahawks go from here with a huge lost da Bears 19-25 Another win for the Colts.

Tennesse at Jacksonville: Edge Jaguars

Not unbeatable team for the last year now at 0-3 for the Titans is Collins getting too old where Young ever going to play again out of tune in lucking talent and Jacksonville a win over the Texans taking a piece of their own AFC South could be that no.2 behind Colts with Maurice Jones-Drew.

Balitmore at New England:Edge Ravens

The Ravens come up from a win over Cleveland 34-3 and Patriots are back on track with over Altanta 34-10 spoiling Matt Ryan's weclome home prade. With Patriots avenge about 20.0 per a game in points and Ravens avenge about 34.4 per a game in points. Ray Lewis will stacking Tom Brady all day.

N.Y. Giants at Kansas City: Edge Giants

What hell it wrong with the Cheifs lately lost to Phily 34-14 and N.Y. Giants are hot for right now. With a shoutout against Tampa Bay having some success over the NFC South. More times for Giants keepin' on rollin'.

Tampa Bay at Washington: Edge Red Skins

the sucken game of the week no better than the other and losses against the Giants and Lions. Bye Bye Leftwich off the deck you go say hello to Josh Johnson. For the Red Skins too much poctial issues going on. Both teams avenged about 13 points of pieces. But Washington has beaten Tampa Bay in the playoffs a little of history won't hurt.

Buffalo at Miami: Edge Bills

No more Pennington no more gone off the season with 2 shoulder injuries. Are Dolphins done only Chad Henne can save them and open fire for Bills go through. Forget loss to Orleans 34-7 Embrassing loss to the Chargers 34-14 for Dolphins and the famous wildcat formation.

N.Y. Jets at New Orleans: Edge Saints

Coming off big wins for the Saints and Jets against the Bills and Titans Mark Sanchez still that USC fire power brought it over to Jets and Siants are looking good at 3-0 in the NFC South. New Orleans avenge about 40.0 per game in points Drew Brees and N.Y. Jets avenge 21.3 per game in poins only can one 4-0 that brlongs to the Saints.

St.Louis at San Francisco: Edge 49ers

These 49ers surprised everyone so far coming off a close on Minnsota Vikings 27-24 and Rams are still in their own LALALA land and blew away by the Packers 34-17. Sad but true according to Metallica the 49ers are beating the Rams 22-8 in terms of scoring.

Dallas at Denver: Edge Cowboys

After Cowboys were trailing 7-0 to the Panthers came stroming off a win 21-7 Tony Romo threw to Jason Witten 9reception for 77 yards. Denver had a field day against Okland 34-3 maybe Tom Cable should knock more coach than players for pool performace. The Cowboys edging off the the Denver by 8 points deffence 28 greater than 20.

San Deigo at Pittsburgh: Edge Chargers

The Chargers had a west coast feild day against the Dolphins 34-14 Philp Rivers is turning a great passing rated quarterback with 100 to 103 some about there. For the Steelers hading their own karma and effect within the lost the Bengals for first one since 2006. The Chargers avenge about 24.3 per game in points and Steelers avenge 15.7 per game in points. Big Ben Roethlisberger's clock is not ticking.

Green Bay at Minnestoa: Edge Vikings

Old man I will never retire Bret Favre and Young gun I am better than Bret Favre Aaron Rodgers. The rivally of the NFC North. The Packers beat down the bang up Rams 34-17. Minnestoa comes big against the 49ers 27-24. Knowing John Madden knows that Bret Favre the best quarter back between the two. Minnestoa avenge 29.3 per game in points and Packers avenge 27.0 per game in points. But John Madden is collect.

This is the second part of the 6 teams that passed on Adrian Peterson and what they were thinking when they did so. If you haven't read about the first 3 teams you should read those as well. The next 3 teams were the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Arizona Cardinals, and the Washington Redskins. Let's dive in and see if we can figure out what was going through GM and coaches minds for these three teams.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Gaines Adams, DE, Clemson University

Arizona Cardinals: Levi Brown, OT, Penn State University

Washington Redskins: LaRon Landry, SS, Louisiana State University

Two of these three picks were on the defensive side of the ball for teams that were trying to sure up that side of the ball, while there was a big reach for an offensive tackle, which might have been the best shot for Adrian Peterson to get drafted. Imagine if the Cardinals had Peterson to pair with Boldin and Fitzgerald and Kurt Warner. WOW!!

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers with the 4th overall pick in the draft went with a defensive end out of Clemson University, Gaines Adams. The Buccaneers were in the beginning stages of trying to redo their defensive line after so many years of great play they needed some new d-linemen to go along with the talented Barrett Ruud and the other linebackers and good defensive backs that they had on their team.

The Buccaneers had just lost a former 3-time pro bowl selection at defensive end in Simeon Rice who left after the 2006 season for the Denver Broncos after 6 seasons in Tampa Bay, including 5 in Arizona. This was a big hole to fill, especially for a once elite defense that coined the term "Tampa 2". This move to a younger defensive team so far has not panned out, as Tampa Bay through the 1st two games of the 2009 season is at the very bottom of the league in total defense. Gaines Adams is a big part of that, and just recently Head Coach Raheem Morris has said that if Adams doesn't pick up his pace and start playing with the energy and ferocity that he has in the past, he may very well find himself on the bench.

Another major reason that they decided to not choose Adrian Peterson is that they had a running back by the name of Carnell "Cadillac" Williams who in his rookie season (2005) rushed for 1178 yards. He also rushed for 798 yards in 2006 and was looking to be a solid running back to be paired with Jeff Garcia and a mediocre receiving core.

The Buccaneers drafted out of need and they had a guy that had proven he could play at a high level. Once again I can say thank you to the Buccaneers for having gone in a different direction.

The Arizona Cardinals, In what might have been the biggest reach of the 1st round chose an left tackle out of Penn State University, by the name of Levi Brown. The Arizona Cardinals drafted on necessity and only on necessity, as Brown was the next OT in the draft but was projected to go around the middle of the 1st round. Could you imagine having Adrian Peterson on the Arizona Cardinals? Mind blowing isn't it.

The Cardinals had Edgerrin James on the roster and he had rushed for 1,000+ yards in 6 of his first 8 seasons in the league. He proceeded to run for 1,000+ yards again in 2007, but since has not been the guy that he was through the first 9 years of his career. Arizona, in my opinion should’ve realized that James was on the downside of his career and thought about the future, instead of reaching for an offensive linemen.

They had a crazy good receiving core to pair with either 2nd year player, former Heisman Trophy Winner, Matt Leinart or the older veteran QB from the greatest show on turf. I guess they realized that they were going to be passing more and needed to get protection on the backside. Although, now Levi Brown is playing on the right side his natural position is left tackle.

The Cardinals are the biggest losers in this draft because they should have realized that James was a running back at the end of his career and Peterson was the explosive playmaker that they needed to off set the ridiculous receiving core that they already had. ARIZONA, YOU MADE IT TO THE SUPER BOWL LAST YEAR, AP’s 2nd SEASON. HE HAD 1760 RUSHING YARDS LAST SEASON. THANK YOU KEN WHISENHUNT, YOU MADE A TERRIBLE PICK WITH YOUR FIRST AS A CARDINAL.

The Washington Redskins had the last chance to grab Peterson off the board before the Vikings, but they chose LaRon Landry from Louisiana State University. Landry was a strong safety who they drafted to pair with free safety Sean Taylor who was entering his 4th season in the NFL and was already a superstar. They figured that the two of them could give the Redskins a formidable safety tandem that could be great for years.

Sean Taylor, only played in 9 games that season before he was shot in his home and killed. Mourned by all, it was a devastating loss for not only those close to him, but to those who realized they were watching the beginning of a HOF career. Known as a great hitter he was the complete safety.

The Redskins already had a running back in Clinton Portis who is an incredible runner. In his first 4 years before an injury riddled 2006, Portis had gained at least 1,300 yards in every season, reaching the 1,500 yard mark in 3 of those. He was the AP Offensive Rookie of the Year while with the Broncos and has never looked back. The Redskins had a pretty good offense with the reigns being given over to Jason Campbell and a decent receiving core. They had no reason to draft a RB, but instead go for defense and even out the team.

All I have to say, is that while learning all of these things, about these 6 teams that there only seems to be one team that made a monumental mistake, the Arizona Cardinals. Everyone else drafted what they needed and already had someone that they felt was going to provide their team with the running game they desired. Either way I say thank you to all 6 of those teams because it gives Minnesota a guy that if he keeps up the pace he's on could go down as the best running back of all time. Now let's get some championships!

Riley Michael Brost
