Thank you Dodgergirl6. Eating right is my biggest problem. I walk 2 times a day. I'm trying my hardest to lose weight now. I'm ready to be committed and live healthy now. Once again, thanks 4 the encouragement.

I just want to thank everyone for their suggestions, I've been going to the gym along with running 5 miles before going to work. Im a RN and work 12 hour days. On my days off I find myself feeling very fatigued, do you guys think im over doing it?

tigerbrad83 along with med. try this always works for me!
Hot Tottie Recipe, this is my choice of drink for that awful head cold that's been going around.
3/4 cup black tea
shot of whiskey
squirt of lemon
teaspoon of honey
cinnamon stick
Directions ,microwave your black tea until hot. allow to steep for a little less than you would ordinarily.
add the honey and the lemon, stir with the cinnamon stick. now the whiskey and stir again.

Does anyone know anything that will help shorten the length and severity of a common cold. I come down with a sore throat and stuffy head yesterday, and I cant afford to miss work bc of the short week last week. I have been using some vitamin c, the kind you get in the phamacy. Any other suggestions?

Thanks for the invite bang. I lost 32 pounds three yrs ago and have had successes and failures. I work out 5-6 days a week and compete in triathlons, but it didn't come easy. I watch what I eat, but I don't deprive myself. On vacation I had Cheesecake Factory cheesecake and had Cold Stone ice cream, so don't think I am a total health nut 24/7! Today is the 4th of July, and I will eat BBQ steak and chips and Hard Lemonade! Be safe!!

I usually hit the punching bag and do some jump rope for carido. Also, guys might want to take Flax moderately. I heard it has some estrogen like properties. I don't know the full scoop on that.
