The only reason I'm not picking the RANGERS is because of Witten's dominance receptions-wise during the first half of MNF. All trends and stats say the RANGERS will win tonight. Anyone saying the Angels will win is doing so based off of bias or "gut feeling". The Rangers are 10-5 against LAA this year, 4-2 at LAA. Hunter has more quality starts in 2009, only gave up 2 ER his only start this year vs the Angels, Santana gave up 5 ER in his only start against Texas this year, the Angels have been cold since their series with the Yanks, the Rangers can play spoiler here... EVERY indicator says Rangers. But in a 162 game season, an individual baseball game is more of a crapshoot than a prop with an entire half in the books showing Witten to be the much more active receiver thusfar. My statement (still posted mind you) states explicitly that ALL MEASURABLE INDICATORS (Rangers overall record against LAA, Rangers record in LAA, Hunter's # of quality outings, Santana's # of quality outings, record in previous 10 games for both teams, etc.) pointed to the Rangers winning. Anyone choosing the Angels did so off of their own bias, their gut instinct or following a Vegas line. In my statement, you'll also see me backing out of that prop and opting for the Cowboys because the predictability of an individual game in a 16 game season is much higher than an individual game in a 162 game season. Wow. I was RIGHT. Go fig. All indicators (other than Vegas) pointed to the Rangers, but the inherent nature of baseball made the football prop a stronger play. Thanks for focusing on the first half of what I said and ignoring the second half. I'll put my 64% MLB record and my 84% NFL record up against your records any day.
