The BCS Championship

Posted 01/ 7/2008/22:25:15 ago

I am back and with avengeance, no not really. That might be tomorrow though. I’ve taken way too many days off over these two holidays and now I’m forced to go back to work. I’m going to make everyone feel bad that knows me inmy hometown. They’re going to say, “Awww, they should have gave that kid more days off,” after they read the article in the newspaper. And I noticed when people feel bad for you they always read your articles. (That is just hometown people though) I know I am messing with a whole different flavor of Tootsie Pop when writing on the Internet.

So I’m ready to get to the point of this posting. It is the BCS championship tonight for college football. I’m watching a live feed on the Internet showing all the web sites posting about the BCS championship and I swear there is one article every three to five seconds. Well, I’m going to be just another one of those. It is going to be hard to get any hits on my web site off this one but I have to write it for my 1000 regular readers.

We have the good old LSU Tigers against Ohio State Buckeyes tonight. I was actually not rooting for the buckeyes last year, but this year I am. Les Miles isn’t one of my favorite coaches in college football. I think he is given a little more credit than there should be. There are two good recruiters on his staff have brought in people like Russell and Dorsey. Those are usually the kinds of people that are brought in by the head coach here it isn’t the case. I just believe is recruiters are really good and know how to persuade a young kid to come to play for their college.

So obviously you can all tell that I’m cheering for Ohio State tonight. I was more than happy to see them lose to Florida last year in the championship. And give me a break if you don’t agree with me. I mean you should feel bad that I have to go through these terrible seasons with the cyclones.

I believe this year that Ohio State doesn’t think that they are the best team and that no one can beat them. I believe that is what happened last year when they played the Florida Gators. This year they have a chip on their shoulder and will be ready to play. It will be hard for them to have any sort of running game since Glenn Dorsey will be healthy though. I say just air the ball out and expose their weak coverage from the safeties. They will have to have really good blocking upfront to do this though.

This game will not be all about speed like other teams are saying it will be. They’re saying that Ohio State is slow and won’t be able to keep up with the Tigers. I believe their matched pretty even though theeee Buckeyes might even have the advantage in the linebacker position. Those guys have a lot of speed out on the field and should have any problem tackling the “white” running back a place for the Tigers.

Prediction: Buckeyes 24 beat Tigers 20

Make sure to read tomorrow’s article as it might be one of my funniest I’ve ever written.

In wbslive's Words...

Sports are a way of life for all of us fanatics. I am 21 years old and I already have my own radio show in my hometown and I just started to do different parts of the show on You Tube. I also like to stay active in the ESPN message boards and get good sports conversations going. I also have my own web site set up for my William Bishop Live show or WBS LIVE. I post all my blog entries on that web site and my ESPN profile. You might also find me on the Fanhouse blog for sports. You could probably say that all my free time goes to being a sports fanatic. I try to keep an open mind with everyone?s comments and thoughts and I really do not have a favorite. It is always good for someone that is a sports personality to have an open mind and not have favorites. If you have favorites when it comes to having your own show or own blog about sports than most everything said is usually biased. Sorry, I have favorites. Below are some of my web sites:
