Why should the government step into the scene of the college football world? Why can’t they let college football decide for itself whether it wants college football to go to a playoff? If America is so free, then why is this communistic move by the government happening? Don’t politicians have enough to worry about, namely the economy? This kind of move by the politicians should be stopped immediately because before you know it they will be coming into our homes to tell us how we must live our lives. The next thing you know, America will be thrown into the midst of communism, which as history tells us, can only end in disaster. The government’s job is not to tell us whether college football is fair, but rather to keep Americans safe and free, to keep our economy going and many other things which do not include forcing college football to do what they want. How stupid can they be, to think that they, the Government, who know less about football than your average school boy, can tell the experts running the show that their system isn’t good enough and that they must, via law, go to a college football playoff?
I don’t care about which is a better system. I don’t care whether you’re a BCS supporter, or a playoff supporter, we should stand together against this intolerable act, and say to those radicals in Washington: “NO!" We, the American people, don’t want to see you stick your head into something that is none of your business. Get back to the real problems that government faces: war and our economy.
