<body>With the Major league Baseball season fast approaching there are many questions awaiting answers. Here are my top three.

1. Are the Tigers the best team in AL?
I definitely think so. The only team even near them as far as talent goes is Boston but they come up short to Detroit's amazing squad, with the addition of all star Edgar Renteria, All star Miguel Cabrera and All Star in 05 D. Willis, their line up will be easily the best in baseball but we shall see how their pitchers do. My guess is they will make it to the World Series in 08.
2. With the addition of Johan Santana will the Mets be the best team In NL.
That's a tough one but I got to think not. The went from having the worst pitching staff out of the three contenders in the NL east to probably having the Best. But they will not have a lot of depth in their starting rotation. For instants Pedro Martinez will be their #2 starter behind Santana, and he is throwing his fastball in the low 80's and he can only 5 innings. Their number three starters John Maine had a good year last year, but will be figured out this year and get knocked around. Then there last two pitchers are about what you expect from your four and five pitcher. Their bull pen is good but the Braves have a better one then them. And there lineup is not comparable to the NL's best lineup coming from the Phillies. So instead of them worrying about getting to World Series they need to worry about winning their own division. My prediction is that they will win the Wild card.
3. Is the NL east the best division in baseball? That's an easy one, yes. Because they are the only Division with three teams contending for the World Series
