< Texas & UNC in my Final 4...a shocker right? lol I can promise you that Texas & UNC are not in my Final Four b/c of bias...well, maybe a little bias is involved. ;) I really think both teams will make it to the Final Four if they stay healthy. Both teams have great guard play, talented big men, & depth. It's possible that Texas & UNC will meet up in the Maui Invitational next month. If so, that'll be a must see game!

< Hello PizzaQueen! :) Good to hear from you! I'm excited about college b-ball starting up as well! I read your blog and commented. It should be no surprise that one of the teams I listed for my Final Four (in your blog) is Texas. lol I'm surprised you didn't list Duke! I don't know much about Duke's team this season. I'm sure they'll be a great team as usual. Last night, we already had our 1st big upset of the season - Michigan over UCLA! It'll be a fun season! Have a great weekend too! :)

Greatest Sports Moment

In Feb. 2004 I was named MVP in a mascot basketball game that took place in Gallagher Iba Arena. I was Mr. Slice the very mascot in my pic. The game was during the half time of a girls game against Missouri. About 1500 fans. Could have only been more fun if it had been a men's game around 15,000. I was on Pistol Pete's team with others and we played against Buffy and Joe from Eskimo Joe's and McGruff the Crime Dog. I had a chance to practice in the costume which helped a lot. The most fun ever.

I am obsessed with Duke basketball. I become worthless from Nov. through April every year. I'm not sure how I became such a huge basketball fan just kind of happened over time. I live in Big XII country so being a Blue devil causes me a lot of grief from the local fans.
