College Football Preview Pt 2

ACC
Atlantic - Call it a case of the Usual Suspects. I see Florida St. vs  Boston College for the lead once again. Clemson, Maryland, and NC State are too erratic while Wake takes a step back.

Coastal - I'm crazy but I like North Carolina here. Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech, and Miami are all teams with potential to win with Duke soon joining them talent wise. If anyone can tell me what Virginia is doing I'd like to know.

BCS Pick - UNC

BIG EAST - Division is weakened this year with West Virginia, Rutgers, and Louisville taking hits to their talent. Cincinnati and South Florida will fight for the top spot again with Pittsburgh closely following. Syracuse got a long way to go and UConn like always is a wild card

BCS Pick - South Florida

BIG TEN (11) - Ohio State vs Penn State here with Iowa, Illinois and Michigan State all waiting to pick the bones in case they fail. Purdue, Michigan, and Wisconsin all are in a state of rebuilding while Indiana, Minnesota, and Northwestern are all stuck in the middle.

BCS Pick - Ohio St

North - Return of Nebraska as Kansas and Missouri take a step back and KSU and Colorado are still a year away. Iowa St. is well Iowa St.

South - I said it yesterday, this is Oklahoma St.'s chance. Texas and OU are weakened a little while Texas Tech has to prove they can do it again. Baylor and Texas A&M, thanks for coming.

BCS Pick - Nebraska

East - So.Miss, E.Carolina and UCF fighting it out for the top spot here.

West - This feels like Houston's year with Tulsa close behind. In the end, Houston takes the crown.

MAC
East - Buffalo continues its rise here but in the way will be Akron.

West - I always get this side wrong but here we go: I am going with W.Michigan over Toledo. In the end Buff gets the crown.

Mountain West - TCU over BYU here in the first BCS year for the conference. Air Force and Colorado St are lacking gamebreakers while Utah is always dangerous, ask 'Bama about that.

BCS Pick - TCU

PAC-10 - Can you say free for all? USC, Oregon, OSU, California and Arizona all can win this crown and all have faults. ASU takes a step back while Stanford, WSU, and UCLA continue to improve. Washington is a ways back.

BCS Pick - Cal

SEC
East - Can you say Florida cakewalk? Georgia has made the mistake of being too cocky while SC and Vanderbilt just don't have the talent. Tennessee and Kentucky are major unknowns.

West - Probably the most competitive region in football. Mississippi is a media darling but I see an Alabama repeat. Auburn and LSU are in flux while MSU and Arkansas will be thorns in everyone's side.

BCS Pick - Florida

Sun Belt - Arkansas St, Troy and FAU will fight for the crown with ASU surviving to get it.

WAC - This may be Nevada's year. Boise lost a little talent and has to go there to play this year. Fresno St. is a disappointment and only other threats are Hawaii and NMSU.

Independents - Army is still a ways away at 4-8, Navy is solid at 7-5 and yes Notre Dame returns to the BCS at 8-4
