No doubt about that. I made a point on Jen's latest blog that I was most worried about playing NY in the first round (out of the three potential matchups heading into the last weekend). I don't know what their issue is when they're the top seed. They laid an egg against the Galaxy a few years back (when they were still SJ) after winning the Supporter's Shield. Oh well. Don't know who to root for now that KC's out, too. The Crew, I suppose.

Agree, that straight red wasn't deserved. I think that might hurt as much/more than the late goal. Gomez has been playing very well as of late, IMO.

KC needs to pick up at least a point this weekend (or hope DC doesn't win). I don't want them to play against Houston. I don't want to have to root against them! Of course, KC hasn't played all that well against Columbus, only picking up the 1 point in 3 games.

Hey, I've got to work at 11 after the Quakes game. I may be able to get there early enough to have a beer, but unfortunately, it will have to be right before the game. The game's at 7, right? If it's at 9 then I'm in trouble.

Sorry, just checked my profile again, so just got your message about the Chivas game. I didn't go anyway, so no biggy. I'll be at the Galaxy game and the Quakes games this year. I work during all the others, unfortunately.

Would love to tailgate, but I work till 3 that day. Since they moved the game up to 4, I'm barely going to make it in time for kickoff. Will see how this develops, though. We gotta have at least one beer before the season ends!

That Red Bulls game was a good one. Glad to finally go to a game that KC won. Gotta check for sure, but I don't think we're going to another game till Becks comes to town. That's not till September.

The last game I went to was the 3-0 drubbing by the Crew. Not good. The next game we're going to is against the Red Bulls on Thursday. You going to that one?
