Brady looked good. He had a few errant passes, his timing with Galloway looked way off. Its only the 1st game of the preseason, and the guy hasn't played in awhile. The pick he had was underthrown, and he knew it....judging by his reaction on the sideline. Overall I was very happy with what I saw, 10-15, 2 tds 100 yds....not to bad considering.....Belichick mixed up the D a little bit....saw some good looks....Darius Butler, a kid from UCONN that I wanted them to get bad had a nice pick. He is gonna be a solid corner I think. Great athlete....watch him. Adelman looked like a Welker clone...the QB from Kent St. He was all over the place...punt return, some great routes in the slot. Looked like the had a good thing going. They tell me they fix them, then a day later it is a mess. Last night was ugly. Taking on Smoltz was a low risk deal. Same with Penny. Smoltz just doesn't have it anymore, but hey, they lost nothing in trying. With the exception of a few games I should say. They are banged up right now. Wakefield out, Dice-K is a mess, Bucholz isn't panning out, Smoltz obviously....Alot of position players banged up too.
