11916 It is half the NBA season and wow has it been a season so far! Trades like Shaq to the Suns is a mystery, how will he do there! Will he be able to run up and down the floor like the Suns style! The Suns are 5-8 record against the other nine West teams with winning records. How long will Suns go? Boston has the best NBA record right now, but the question is can they keep it up going into the playoffs! They don't want to be the Dallas Mavs from last year who had a magic season until playoff time they got knocked out in the first round to Golden State! Staying in the East who are the favorites? Is it Detroit who has the most experience and is there every year? Or is the Celtics who beat the Pistons and lost to the Pistons! Does Flip Saunders really believe in his bench and will he believe in them during playoff time? What about them Lakers does Kobe have enough help to win the title for the 4th time? They added Pau Gasol to their roster to have a better future and to give Kobe what he wants and needs! What about Lebron's Cavs and his help? Is it enough to take them back to the finals and maybe win the finals this time? Why isn't anyone talking about the defending champs? The Spurs have never repeated as champs! But, the past doesn't tell us anything? In the east it's either Detroit or Boston that is the best, but what about the West which team is #1 over their? The Spurs, Lakers, Suns, Hornets? Well no one should be forgotten including the defending champs! How about them Hornets best record with the Suns in the west, but do records tell us anything? No, just ask the Pats! Hornets have a really good team and a pretty good bench, can they keep it up all the way? Mavs have been quiet, but good lately so I believe they will go VERY FAR! This is what I see happen until the playoffs and through out the playoffs! West: I believe the Suns will go to the playoffs ranked # 1 in the west they will not go very long maybe to the West finals! I got the Mavs over the Spurs in 7 in the West and Detroit over Boston in 7 in the East! Pistons over Mavs in 7 in the Finals! Who is the MVP so far this year? I would have to say Kobe Bryant right now because his team is winning, he is doing very well without Bynum! Gasol should help a lot! For Chris Paul to be MVP he has to get the Hornets to be #1 in the west to be the MVP! Lebron is not an MVP because his team can't beat Detroit or Boston and he also needs more help in Cleveland! KG is not an MVP because really does he have the stats! NO he doesn't plus they have lost a lot since of his injury!
