NFL Championship Weekend!!!!!!
The Colts get upset by an injury plagued Chargers team and Eli Manning leads his
Giants to a big win over the rival Cowboys. Ryan Grant overcomes two fumbles and
rushes for a Packers playoff record 201 yards and scores 3 TD’s, and the
Partiots were well the Patriots. A Quick recap of the games I was able to watch.
Of course being from Wisconsin I watched the Packers game, at first it looked like
it was going to be a long day for Favre and the Packers after they gave the Seahawks
a 14-0 lead in the first four minutes of the game. I was feeling the Packers magical
season was done but than they go out there in the snow and just hand it to Holmgren
and the Hawks. It lookes as though Seattle just thought we have the lead so we will
take the rest of the day off. Ryan Grant over came those two early mistakes and had
the game of his life. Farve couldn’t have looked better, he could have turned
it the Favre of old and forced things and try to win the game himself but he
connected with Greg Jennings twice on two great passes for touchdowns. The defense
also stepped up and played great. Now the Packers will host the Giants in Frozen
Tundra of Lambeau Field in single degree temps(game high temp is looking to be 7
degrees and get colder through out the game). I think the giants will play them
tough but the Packers will prevail and win. My final score prediction is Packers 34
Giants
23.
I didn’t get to watch too much of any of the other games becasue of prior
commitments and I celebrated a little too much to closely watch the Patriots v.
Jaguars game but Sunday’s games were all surprising to me. I did predict the
Giants were going to win but where the heck did the Chargers come from. I thought
with an injured Gates than a banged up LT the Colts would have shut them down.
Peyton played a great game but they couldn’t put it away. Harrison’s
fumble was huge and so was the interception by SD at the end of the first half to
prevent Indy from scoring. So now we have the Chargers who have finally pulled it
together and somewhat look like the Chargers of last season, although they are a
little banged up. Rivers and LT said they are not going to miss this game, Gates is
gettng healthier but they are playing the Pats. Yes, I thought last week they would
get upset by the Jags, but I admit when I am wrong. This week I predict the Patriots
will win in a stunner Patroits 27 Chargers
10.
Super Bowl XLII we will see if the Packers magical season can get any more magical
and beat the unbeaten Patriots? Check back next week for my recap and SB XLII
prediction.

I am a 49er fan, but I have to support my other favorite team the Packers since they are in the playoffs now and on their way to the Super Bowl!!!
If I had it MY WAY, there would be no punting on fourth down, No Throwaway Passes. I would never be told to slide or step out of bounds. Safeties would learn to fear my footsteps. And history books Wouldn't refer to me as a quarterback, but as a Football Player. -- Brett Favre
5 seconds left....4th and 3 yards to go, ball on the 15 yard line, down by 6. the anticipation, the nerves running through your body, can they score?
Bottom of the 9th, down by two runs men on 1st and 3rd. 3-2 count two outs, can we win.
