As a lifelong Raider fan, it pains me to continually watch them flounder. I've become a cynic, when I used to be a Raider optimist. I realize that they're going to be trolling along the bottom of the league until Mr. Davis keeps his mitts out of the cookie jar. But, since we all know he's going to meddle, even if he's plugged in at the local med center, I have a plan that might suit him. It's time for the Raiders to go Full Felon and Mass Malcontent. I say they should make an effort to sign every single malcontent and law breaker they can get their hands on. Pacman Jones, Plaxico Burress, Tank Johnson, to name a few felons, and Chad Johnson, to name a malcontent. What have they got to lose. Didn't they just set a record last year for consistent futility? I think they became the first EVER NFL team to win less than 6 games for the 6th straight year?? Anyway, if you've got NOTHING TO LOSE, why care what anybody thinks? Raider fans have shown an entire history of not caring who performs, as long as they perform (Rich Gannon and his video game offense notwithstanding). And, here's the best part: Al could probably reel in all these guys on the cheap. Just something to think about Al.....
