Yeah, last night's loss was pretty sad. Hudson pitched plenty well enough to have won but we blew it. (Have to admit I am partial to Hudson because of his ties w/Auburn!!)

In base2bass's Words...

I consider myself a true sports fanatic. Not only do I religiously watch sports, but I consider myself to be a pretty active person as well (in the respect of playing sports as well). I also don't simply follow my favorite teams. I follow the entire league, immersing myself with as much information as I can, allowing me to give my own educated opinions about issues, not just repeat opinions of others. Some people may consider me a bandwagon fan, given how I got my favorite sports teams. As a very young kid, and when I was getting into a sport, I would watch Sportscenter to see all the teams, and when I found one I liked, I stuck with them. I liked the 49ers and Braves in the early 90's. I liked the Timberwolves soon after they drafted KG. When I got into hockey in the late 90's, I found the Avalanche. I'm no hometown fan, for sure, growing up in upstate NY. I don't consider myself a bandwagon fan, however, because although i began liking my teams in their years of success, I have stuck with them through the bad times (past 5 years for the 49ers, 2 years for the Braves, the Timberwolves as of late, etc.), and I will stick with them until they are all brought back to glory. Although I have started to follow college sports since I have been in college, I have yet to settle on a team. The main reason for this is that I plan on going to law school after I graduate from St. Mike's in 2010, and if I go to a big D-1 sports school, I would love for my favorite team to be my alma mater (maybe Michigan, Stanford, or Cal-Berkely).

Why the Yankees and Dolphins, you ask? Sports has been something (and one of the only thigns) that I have had in common with my pops, and he is really into baseball and football. As you probably guessed, he is a Yankees fan and a Dolphins fan. They are definately my #2 teams, and I will always hold a soft spot in my heart for them, not for my own liking, because they are my dad's teams, and they will always symbolize that relationship
