I can't even find the words now. But it came down to the U.S. not being able to keep possession in the second half. And thats the difference between us and the soccer elite of the world. You could tell that they kept meaning to attack in the beginning of the 2nd half, but they could barely string together 3 consecutive passes. And you could tell the U.S. defense was starting to break down. Bittersweet, thats what I call it. And I think being without Bradley and Hedjuk hurt us big time. But Landon spoke gospel after the game, yeah they earned some respect in the tournament, but the win was sooooooo close. Howard did so good, they just took a ridiculous amount of shots in his direction. CONCACAF starts tomorrow though ... Anyways, I'd love to hear your thoughts. The World Cup is, hands down, THE greatest sporting event. March Madness is pretty good, but they got nothin on the World Cup. And yeah, that game was pretty awesome. I feel bad turning my back on the Mexico team ... but I just don't like the way they play... Oh well. I've had the league posted for 2 weeks and it's still just a buddy and myself. I am going to scout some other Yahoo leagues with live drafts and see about some with mostly filled owner slots. That way I'm guaranteed to get in a decent league. I'll let you know if I find something that looks solid. Every year you think she'll pick the obvious choice but she goes with an off the wall pick nobody saw coming. Nothing in that division surprise me any more. I think people are sleeping on KC a little more than perhaps they should.
