And as far as Georgetown goes, my guess is they will be somewhere in the 20s if they're ranked at all. I'll be honest and say I'd rather see them unranked to start the year; give that young, but very talented team something to prove. They're going to have a very tough time of it being in the same league as Pittsburgh, Louisville, Notre Dame, UConn, etc., but I think they'll pull a few surprises =)

I hope all has been well with you. I've been on vacation in Delaware and Maryland for the last week. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get on a computer until now, but I really wanted to and was finally able to do so today. Take care and have a great 4th of July :)

If it gets to the point where he isn't a huge liability on that end of the floor, I probably won't be complaining too much. Still, I would have much preferred Jarryd Bayless or Eric Gordon be guy they chose. Oh well, I guess all I can do is hope for the best. I am actually surprised the Sonics didn't pick Bayless and went with Westbrook.

I thought they took Westbrook too early, but hopefully the Oklahoma City Sonics will look good with that pick, lol :-p

Haha, if only I wasn't such a dedicated fan, I would be ready to give up on the Knicks. But being the huge Knicks fan that I am, I'll still be following them. You could call me a glutton for punishment :-p My guess is he will be nothing special, but my hope is for him to prove me wrong and become the next Dirk Nowitzki.

Not only that, to become a somewhat decent defensive player. At this point, I imagine he will be a liability on that end of the floor.

The starting lineup will probably include Chris Wright, Jessie Sapp, Austin Freeman, DaJuan Summers and Greg Monroe. Monroe is a freshman, Wright and Freeman are sophomores and Summers is a junior with Sapp being a senior. All but Sapp have the potential to be stars, but it'll be great for the younger guys to have his presence around. He's been through the wars and knows what it takes to win.

As for the bench, the top guys off the bench will be Henry Sims and Jason Clark, both freshmen.

With Georgetown, they'll be in more of a rebuilding mode this season with the losses of Hibbert, Jonathan Wallace, Patrick Ewing Jr. and Vernon Macklin/Jeremiah Rivers since they decided to transfer. Rivers went to Indiana while Macklin went to Florida. They did get a transfer in Julian Vaughn from Florida State, but he won't be eligible until the 2009-2010 season.

From what I see, we'll have a very talented starting lineup but not a very deep team at all.

If the Knicks take Brook Lopez or that Italian guy, I may just be ready to give up on them, lol. As far as the college basketball season, it looks like it will be a very fun one. As of now, North Carolina will be the heavy favorite according to most experts since Lawson, Ellington and Green decided to come back to school.

Gonzaga looks like they're going to have themselves an outstanding team. A lot of people are calling them a Final Four sleeper team. I'd love to see that!

I don't think Augustin has the ceiling of those 2, but he's a fast point guard who can fill it up despite his lack of size. Could be a Jameer Nelson type of guy. If the Knicks wanted to take a risk, I'd like Anthony Randolph. He reminds be a lot of Lamar Odom and Tayshaun Prince. He's got the arms of Prince and the height of Odom. I'd easily rank him 5th on my board with the potential to be the third best player to come from this draft. There are guys I don't want to see them take.
