Maybe Brett Favre to the Pats in 2009?

12343 It seems like Brett Favre is done with the Jets and the Jets are done with Favre. Now is the perfect time to bring him on board with the Pats and have him start buying into the system and eating humble crow pie so he can get his Super Bowl Lombardi Trophy Ring like Randy and Junior did. How do you like this depth charge? 1) Old Number 12 Tom Brady - After a whole season to rest up and recharge his batteries Brady will be back with a tan and a plan and better than ever! 2) Matt Cassel "Hoff" - Slap the franchise tag on him and either play him if Brady needs a little extra healing time or trade him for a couple of #1 overall draft picks. 3) Kevin "K.O." O'Connell - The 6'10" manchild still needs to put in another six or seven years of watching and learning before he will be ready to start .... much the same as Matt Cassel "Hoff" did. 4) Matt "Johnny Guitar" Gutierrez - Try to get him some snaps in a "wildcat" type formation or situation. 5) Brett Favre - If all else fails we have this multi record holder sitting in our back pocket.
