<body>I wonder why everybody is thinking that Matthew Stafford is a &quot;Franchise QB.&quot; It's not like he took his College Football team to a BCS Championship Game and won, yet a long anytime during his career at Georgia. &quot;I DO AGREE&quot; that he is the best QB in this years draft, but is it really a Quarterback that the Detroit Lions need, In this case NO. I think Aaron Curry could be a #1 overall pick but defense should be a second concern for the Lions in this years draft if they want to make it to the playoffs. They should really consider taking a Offensive Lineman #1 overall, maybe Jason Smith form Baylor or Eugene Monroe from Virginia, but don't forget the Lions also have the 20th overall pick (form the Dallas Cowboys earlier this past year). They could then take a defesnsive player maybe a Linebaker or a D-Lineman like Brian Cushing, Robert Ayers or,Larry Enlish that can play either position.

If you really think about it if the QB situation is still a problem not just for the Lions but any team after this years draft there's always next year. Next Year's draft will have a better Quaterback class then this year. With Colt McCoy, Tim Tebow, Sam Bradford entering the 2010 Draft plus more you can't really go wrong with any of these guys.

Either way it goes next year is going to be REALLY INTERSETING!

Until Next Time
SEE YA!
