Ran across a good friend of mine who's wife works for the athletic director at ND. After last week's loss to Syracuse, he had her send a copy of Charlie's contract to their legal department. The word is, win or lose, Charlie get's fired by Monday at the latest.
On a related note, this is completely asinine of ND to do (if it happens). Tell me what top level coach wants to come to ND? Especially, in light of the fact that the university has a history of dumping coaches after 3-4 years.

I agree with zone, the Irish need a coaching change. How they could crumble like that is all coaching. Hope you get more to cheer for with your other teams. BQ got benched! DA back in, Romeo needs to go also!

The bottom line is winning. He simply isn't getting it done. A loss to a dismal 2-8 team like Syracuse is an embarrassment. Losing to them at home is an indictment for change.

Can't believe the fickle fans calling for Charlie's head on a platter! LMAO! Do these people think that ND football is still a premier program? It takes time to rebuild a program and there's been way too many changes in the staff for this one to have settled in.
