THE MOST exclusive club on the planet. Tiger Woods, Michael Jordan, Babe Ruth, Wayne Gretzky are the only ones in the club. And I'm not sure about Gretzky. These people have transcended the sports world. Tiger Woods isn't black or Asian, he is a golfer. Michael Jordan IS basketball. Go up to a six-year-old and ask them who Tiger and MJ are; I bet they could tell you. They have transcended race. Not only are they immensely popular, that are arguably the greatest players of their respective sports. Names like Pete Rose, Mickey Mantle, Brett Favre, Joe Montana, Mario Lemieux, Derek Jeter, Shaquille O'Neal, Cy Young, Jack Nicholaus, Hank Aaron, Arnold Palmer, Joe Namath, Jerry Rice, Wilt Chamberlain, Peyton Manning, Larry Bird, Lebron James, Kobe Bryant, Oscar Robertson; they do not make the list. Some because there popularity doesn't rise above sports, some because they didn't DOMINATE their sport, some because of a lack of championships, some for a lack of a mostly clean history, and some for a combination or reasons. Tom Brady is on the verge of being accepted into the club. Another bit of criteria for the Untouchables is that you must have a superhuman quality about you, and you must be extremely clutch.
