• HuffyT13 (01/31/2008/08:09:12 ago) Living in Lenexa and wasn't so bad, but there were plenty of snooty folks around, especially in Overland Park. Not all, but lots. (I don't want to offend any friends I might have that live there!!)

• HuffyT13 (01/24/2008/08:43:46 ago) I too remember watching the '85 series and from that point on was an admirer of George Brett and his style of play. Got to watch him a few times in person at Kauffman Stadium his last year to play when I was living in Lenexa. Something I also noticed, Rockhurst offered myself and a couple of other guys some baseball scholarships back in 1994, didn't go though, went back to West Texas A&M. (Closer to home)

What are you thinkin' about them this season (Of course, I have to warn you that my Lakers are first, Suns second; Lakers are lifetime, Suns while I was in AZ and the "Nash era"...they really stole my heart)
