Greatest Sports Moment

Talladega 4/04.. I spent my honeymoon there (no I'm not a redneck, just a NASCAR fan!) I am a Jeff Gordon fan and when Jeff won under the "GREEN,WHITE,CHECKERED" the place went nuts! Dale Jr fans started throwing stuff onto the track, fans around us started to revolt! It was scary to be wearing anything with the name JEFF GORDON on it.
Will I ever go back? I have to say no, the rednecks there are crazy!! LOL

I was never a big sports fan until I met my husband. Don't get me wrong, I knew the difference between offense/defense, and caution laps...etc..
But I never LOVED sports until my hubby explained it all to me. What started out as a reason to spend time with him became a true love for NASCAR AND BASEBALL.
I can't describe the feeling I got at my first race when the cars went whizzing by (the sounds, the smell of oil/gas ) I got chill bumps, no joke.
I also love a beer anywhere in the stands when we are lucky enough to be able to attend a TEXAS RANGERS game. There's something about your team coming up to bat that makes you feel like "THIS COULD BE THEIR YEAR".
I don't like all sports, I'm a girly-girl,but given the chance I would go to a NASCAR RACE or a TEXAS RANGERS GAME over pretty much anything else!
