    Hi G!

I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaack! And ready for more bball! Should be an exciting season, don't you think?

As for football; well, there's always gotta be one of those years to adjust, right? You got it with Ricko, UNC had it last year with Butch and this year's got it with Coach Mac here.

No matter though, I'll be rootin' for you folks come next week! That's one game I'll sit down to watch, live!

    Tc!

This week is going to be a movers and shakers week because there are several good matchups that can go either way. Good luck!

I've got my own opinions of Rich-Rod and our new hire at Michigan. Trust me. The "new hire" label will stick until he plays ohigho state. And my opinions include wondering WHY Michigan would look past Les Miles in order to make Rich their new man... unless Lloyd couldn't possibly live with himself once Les returned the Maize and Blue to it's rightful and accustomed place atop the Big Ten. I think Lloyd was tired of living in the shadow of Bo... (pause for dramatic effect)... and couldn't handle retirement knowing everyone would consider him "third rate" once Miles returned Michigan to it's winning ways - and by "winning ways" I mean handing Columbus their collective butts every time they'd meet on the gridiron. As it stands, Michigan fans will slowly come to realize Rich and his losing ways are intolerable and will long for a return to the National Championship era of guys like... well, Lloyd Carr. Thus, Lloyd will be thought of as a fitting and proper Michigan Coach and history will blur the fact that real fans of Michigan thought Lloyd was behind the times and should've left when he did because we were tired of losing to those thugs from Columbus! *ahem* Where I become most frustrated is with my partners in arms who fail to note history and the slippery slope Michigan slides when it fails to learn from it. As an example, when Notre Dame went fishing for a head coach and caught Ty Willingham, they caught an average coach (he was anything but spectacular at Stanford) and they got just what they hired. Ty has since moved on and ND hired a man with absolutely no experience at the position... and ND got just what they deserve. History is ripe with moments where schools fail while rushing to shed their past (Nebraska). If Michigan had made the right hire, we probably would forget about Lloyd... more quickly than he wanted. In fact, the only one who'da lost after hiring Les Miles would've been Lloyd Carr (and those punks from ohio). Well, Lloyd. Do ya feel better now?
