Hi everyone, just back from a mid-week stint on the 10pm Pacific Sportscenter in Los Angeles. Our new west coast studio is basically the same set up to what we have in Bristol, with a few minor differences. The mandatory dress code featuring board shorts and bikinis was odd, but hey when in Rome right??? Here are a couple of pics from my trip.

Here's a pic of Dodger Stadium:

This was my first visit and wow does it make an impression. When great parks around the country this one isn't mentioned right away if at all. But look at that view. Also, while not part of the stadium, Vin Scully is still getting it done. He sounds almost as good as he did in his prime.

Here's me and Fernando Valenzuela:

I wasn't a Dodger fan growing up, but it was cool meeting Fernando. For those of us outside California I think it's hard to imagine how big a star Valenzuela was when he arrived on the scene in 1981. He's still a huge star in Los Angeles, and does radio for the team's Spanish broadcast.

Rescue Me Bringing The Heat

Rescue Me on FX is one of the best shows on TV. If you're not on board do yourself a favor and rent the previous season's. Last week's episode featured a scene that may have been the funniest of the year on any show. I can't detail it here, but it does involve the guys helping Garrity diagnose his...um.. problem.

Let's Chat

I'll be chatting Tuesday at 3:15 eastern on sportscenter.com. Hit me up with some questions, flattery pretty much a guarantee that they will get answered. Later.
