If you were NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell what would you do? What would I do? The reinstatement of Michael Vick comes with just two answers. Let him play or let him sit. However, it comes packed with questions. If you're the commissioner, do you want this man to wear your shield and logo again? How can you deny a man the right to make a living? Especially one that has paid his debt to society? Goodell has said he wants to meet with Vick face to face before making a decision on reinstatement. Presumably, to look Vick in the eye and ask him these questions, "Are you sorry? Have you changed?" Vick will say "Yes" to both, but will he say it with the same conviction that he did back in 2007? When he lied to Commissioner Goodell's face about his involvement in this heinous crime in the first place. Michael Vick's reinstatement has just two answers. Yes or No. And I'm still not sure which one is right, or which one I would choose.

The Virginia Perspective

The Vick story has received plenty of attention everywhere, but no more than in his home state of Virginia. Here's how one columnist in Richmond, Virginia sees things.

Beck's Homecoming

David Beckham's first game in Los Angeles since returning from Europe was a success. Of course, only if you consider getting booed non-stop and a near skirmish between Beckham and a fan a success. The Sun newspaper in London had an interesting article written by Rodney Marsh. Marsh is an Englishman who played in the United States in the 1970's. He believes Beckham will have a tough time winning back American fans after his actions.
