So I'm sitting in the ESPN newsroom wrapping my mind around what I've missed after taking some time off, and a newswire catches my eye. Allen Iverson to the Grizzlies. I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me so I clicked on the story and low and behold the 10 time all-star guard is seriously considering playing in Memphis for 1 year and 5 million bucks. Did A.I. blow thru all of the cash he's made or is he too prideful to play for less money and a better team like the Heat? Only Iverson knows the "answer" to that question, but what is Memphis thinking? The Grizzlies were LAST in the league in assists last season with only 17.4 per game. Sure Iverson averages better than 6 dimes per, but we all know it takes a ton of Iverson shots without passing to keep his career scoring average north of 27 ppg where it is now. We'll just put this potential deal in the things that make you go "umm" file.

The King gets Crowned

Turns out, Lebron and Nike may only want us to witness what they've approved us to see. During King James' basketball camp, according to the New York Times - Xavier sophomore Jordan Crawford posterized Lebron. Dunking all over him with a 2 handed flush. James had leaped up to defend and appeared to be in full extension, but we'll never know because the pair of guys taping the game had their visual evidence confiscated by Nike officials. Good for you Jordan Crawford! Despite all efforts to keep what you did a secret, we know and applaud you! Until the next time, may your favorite team give you reason to cheer!
