1279217 <p>&nbsp;This is to all of the fans in this world that call their teams their own, because they are. I recently got a message from a guy on my blog saying i was "gay" for&nbsp; saying "we" when i was talking about the Lakers. Idk about other fans but i know we are just as important to the team as it's players, if not more. I live in the LA area, I go to numerous laker games yearly, I buy Lakers jerseys and caps and many other Lakers things. Without us fans our teams would be nothing, and&nbsp; this goes to every fan of every team not just the lakers. We are the team, we are part of this organization. So i have every freaking right to refer to the Lakers as "we." We fans give the organization our hard earned money not only to watch the team play one night, but to keep the team playing for years to come. It's our money that signs all of our star players, it's our money that buys the players equipment, and it's our money that keeps great professional organizations all around the United States alive during this recession.
